AFTER GRINCH STRIKES, DONATIONS POUR IN,
COMPANY OFFERS FREE SHIPPING
SACRAMENTO, Calif. –Move America Forward (MAF), the nation’s largest grassroots pro-troops organization, had 120 care packages, over $5,000 worth, stolen from their Christmas Care Package shipment. Today MAF received a donation of $4,000 from DYMO Endicia, the shipping software company that MAF uses to purchase postage for their care packages. This donation will cover the cost of about 300 additional care packages to be sent to the troops in Afghanistan.
“As soon as we heard about the story and realized Move America Forward was one of our customers, we immediately knew we had to help,” said Amine Khechfe, general manager and co-founder of Endicia. “At our recent Camp Pendleton event, we heard from several military men, women and family members how much care packages mean to our troops stationed overseas during the holidays. We are glad to help such a wonderful organization support our troops, many of whom risk their lives every day to keep our nation safe.”
“We started using Endicia in 2007 to streamline our printing and shipping process. Their software has saved us countless hours and sped up our ability to ship packages to the troops in harms way.” says Scott Raab, Outreach Coordinator for MAF “Thanks to DYMO Endicia we will be able to ship another 300 care packages to Afghanistan, essentially for free. We can’t thank them enough for their generosity.”
